The Gorenjska Bank business building in Kranj houses a dilapidated existing canteen. The current state is the result of past renovations, which left behind a mix of different materials, uncoordinated designs, and disjointed spatial features. The current interior is uninviting and distinctly unrepresentative. The renovation envisages the removal of all existing materials from the existing space and a simplification of the floor plan into a functional and clearly designed space. The design concept follows the idea of a warm brick pool that embraces the space and creates a platform for furniture made of natural materials and furniture in vivid colors of similar tones. Above the brick pool rises a neutral, earthy "sky" – a ceiling and walls in a soft beige shade.
